To be an extension of our fraternal mission by upholding daily the Fraternity's motto: "Culture for Service, Service for Humanity" through demonstration and dedication.
Nu Omicron Sigma’s MISSION:
In keeping with the mission of our National Fraternity's philosophy "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity", the men of Nu Omicron Sigma will remain focused and committed to making a difference to individuals, and our local communities. This commitment will be exemplified by strengthening and serving proactively to promote our fraternity causes by the giving of each member's time, talent, and treasures. It is expected that Nu Omicron Sigma members will work hard creating an environment that respects the dignity and worth of each brother while simultaneously exhibiting integrity and ethical behavior when conducting the fraternity business. Nu Omicron Sigma Chapter will place emphasis on building beneficial, working relationships with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., fellow Greek-letter organizations, and community groups. Nu Omicron Sigma Chapter will be committed to supporting and expanding mentoring initiatives, specifically promoting strong values, leadership skills, and social/cultural awareness to youth groups such as the Sigma Beta Club.

Nu omicron sigma at a glance
In March 2006, the Nu Omicron Sigma Chapter was formed. Shortly after its formation, the chapter's chartering members moved away and the chapter folded. In August 2010, five members of Beta Chi Sigma Chapter (Columbia, SC) transferred their membership to the then defunct Nu Omicron Sigma Chapter. During the Reclamation Program in October, 2010, thirteen (13) new reclaimed Brothers joined the Nu Omicron Sigma Chapter bringing its membership to eighteen (18). To date, there are fifteen members active with the Chapter.
The chapter initiated two (2) Brothers in 2011. The Chapter has won "Alumni Chapter of the Year" for the State of South Carolina for the past two years (2011,2012). See the home page for the story
